Trade Technologies, an international trade document solutions provider, announced its opening of an office in Dubai, UAE. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Trade Technologies now maintains 17 offices worldwide.
“The Middle East is an important region for most of our multinational customers and almost 10% of the USD13 billion of transactions we processed last year flowed through the Middle East,” said Trade Technologies President and CEO Kirk Lundburg in a 7 February 2022 announcement. According to the company, its TradeSharp Platform was used in 2021 to process over 60,000 letter of credit, documentary collection, and open account trade transactions for which over 32,000 sets of trade documents were delivered electronically.
