UNCITRAL’s Draft Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents Entering Final Phase

Working Group VI of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) held its 45^th session, 9-13 December 2024, at the United Nations in Vienna. Emerging from this effort, it is expected that the Working Group’s draft convention on negotiable cargo documents (NCDs) will be finalized and presented to the UN General Assembly for adoption in late 2025.
